FAQS
How clean is Anchors Port Campbell?
COVID Housekeeping/Safe Cleaning Practice
At Anchors Port Campbell our number one priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff, partners and community. As we are a small property consisting of three self-contained lodges, we are able to control safety a lot easier than many larger hotels.
We are a small team at Anchors and have a rigorous COVID safe cleaning schedule to ensure your villa is immaculate on check-in. This includes a complete change of bedding and soft furnishings including throw rugs and cushion covers after each stay, sanitisation of all surfaces and touch points to exceed recommended guidelines, and during the quieter months we can rotate our villas to allow longer times between guests. We are also a member of Healthy Hotels Group, with regular sanitisation of our mattresses, pillows and floor rugs for a professional clean.
Can I maintain distance from other guests at Anchors Port Campbell?
We have only three villas onsite and all villas are self-contained. Direct access to your villa is provided on arrival. We like to meet and greet you during your stay to ensure you get all the information for a great getaway in our retreat. However, if a contactless arrival/departure is preferred, then we can certainly arrange this for you. All our staff are fully vaccinated in accordance with the Australian Government Health Department orders and we work proactively to keep updated on the current health advice.
Is there shared facilities at Anchors Port Campbell?
We have only one shared area which is the laundry space. Each day the laundry is cleaned after use by staff. There is hand sanitiser and cleaning supplies provided under the sink for guests to use before and after use of the facility.
NOTE: Please note in the current Coronavirus climate we are taking payments closer to the date of arrival to ensure travel restrictions are not enforced and reduce the need for refunds. In the event of restrictions being changed after the date of booking, then a free cancellation will be offered. Payments will be charged 14 days prior to the date of stay.
Please note that non-refundable rates are being charged at time of booking. Please ensure you have Domestic or International travel insurance to cover for cancellations due to contracting Covid and the need to isolate.
Cancellation Policy:
As we are a very small business a late cancellation can result in an empty villa which has a significant impact on our livelihood. Therefore we do have a longer cancelation policy than larger hotels and accommodation offerings. We appreciate your understanding of the following cancellation policy:
Off-Peak: Free cancellation must be notified more than 14 days of reservation date, within this time the booking is non-refundable.
Peak: 30 days cancellation notice is required during peak periods including School & Public Holidays, Long Weekends and Special Events.
Cancellations must be received according to these terms.
